The Boat Shop - Spring Tune Up

As we enter the new season, It's a good idea to conduct Spring battery maintenance on your vessel before you put it back in the water. We always recommend that you conduct a Spring performance check on your batteries. This should be done on fully charged set of batteries. In addition to voltage checks, some batteries should also be checked for electrolytes and topped off with mineral water if needed. It is also important to check cables for wear. Be sure to clean all corrosion from the terminals and tighten any lose connections before you get underway.
